It's always hard to share life with someone, even if you love them. But sharing *in* life is pretty easy, a blog allows other's to read/hear/watch your experiences without becoming emotionally involved. Right now I'm not sure what I want in life...or this blog.
I'm a single dad and I love it. But it's hard. I have no problem sharing my life and my experiences with her, that's what being a dad is about....loving, caring and sharing. Bt as a single dad with a pretty successful business, it's hard to have the time for people ouside my narrow little biosphere which, right now, only includes: myself, Zoe, our dog Nox, and tons of salt and fresh water fish and lastly our cat Baxter.
I've been divorced for almost 4 years and while it's super nice being single I've taken singularity to an extreme. Not sure I want to date yet, but at 35, it might be time to consider it :)
My business is a technical consulting firm. I started out writing specialized search algorithms in 1993 for a few clients. Lately we've been doing a lot of C# development for large corporations to integrate cool PKI applets into things like CRM and financial applications.
Right now I'm at the point where I look back on how much I loved things that weren't geeky: painting, music, creative writing and drawing. I loved art! I still do, I just haven't made it a priority. I'd like to change that.
To bring this rambling prose back on target. I'm not vain enough to think people would care to peek into my life, but some advice from people wiser than I would be great...and maybe I can share in someone else's life too.
